Project Challenge
E-Commerce organization with a USA based DC had an unexpected termination 1 week prior to Thanksgiving with 12 days of past due orders estimated at $4-5m of Revenue. Leadership was weak with little to no ownership within the DC workforce.
Strategy Applied
Within 24 hours, a QLP Senior Consultant arrived to the DC and within 24 hours identified the system constraints and identified major risks. Immediately Daily management was implemented with hourly Gemba walks to drive ownership and accountability.
